While 2020 presented a slew of unprecedented problems — many of which still need solving — it also opened up a world of opportunities, especially for the healthcare industry. The rapid adoption of telemedicine is just one example of how much innovation in healthcare has changed, and how quickly.
In the most recent episode of Go for Launch, three startups pitched their products, all focused on improving technology in order to create better experiences in healthcare for both customers and healthcare professionals.
Go for Launch is Innovation Leader’s series of live startup demos. During each episode, three startups pitch their solutions in 30 minutes. Then, our guest hosts ask questions to the entrepreneurs. After the webcast concludes, participants have the opportunity to connect with founders in virtual breakout rooms to ask their questions.
Rendever, the first to pitch, targets loneliness in senior living communities with its accessible approach to virtual reality. Spatio Metrics uses data-driven design to assist facilities in creating building designs that encourage healing. And once you are inside the facility, Bedestrian’s robots transport goods in a way that is both safe and sterile.
This episode also features insights from Nico Arcino, Senior Director of Partnerships at Kaiser Permanente, the California based healthcare consortium. Matt Griffiths, Director of Healthtech and Devices at Silicon Valley Bank, co-hosts this episode. Silicon Valley Bank is also a sponsor of this series.
