One of the opening speakers at our 2025 “AI Build Day” event was Jen Stave, the Chief Operator at Harvard’s Digital Data Design Institute. Video of her talk is below, as are the slides in PPT form.
Stave focused on “5 Things to Know About AI Right Now,” while cautioning that her presentation would only be relevant for a short time given the fast-evolving nature of the technology. They were:
- AI is going to be a teammate, not a tool
- Leaders and employees arent prepared for AI teammates
- Most people arent prepared for AI as a tool
- There is a big gap between knowing and doing
- Process efficiency ≠ AI Transformation.
