What is Impact?

Impact 2018 is about helping corporate innovators drive meaningful change within their organizations.

Through interactive whiteboard sessions and workshops, attendees will learn about metrics, governance, working with business units, as well as personal innovation, branding, and career development. Infused with peer-to-peer learning, skill-building, and interactive activities, our off-the-record sessions are for attendees’ ears only. No slides, no panels, just real conversations with your peers at the world’s largest companies.

Participants will get concrete take-aways, as well as templates and member-contributed tools to implement in their organizations, along with access to a highly-curated network of innovation professionals willing to share best practices and lessons learned the hard way.

Hotel & Travel Information

Hotel: We’ve arranged a room block with discounted rates at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge. The majority of IMPACT 2018 takes place at this location.

We highly recommend booking early, as Head of the Charles is also occurring that week (Oct. 20-21) and accommodation in the city will be difficult to find.

Or call (888) 421-1442 and mention the Innovation Leader room block. Please note that the deadline to make reservations under the room block is September 18th.

Arrival: If you are flying in for IMPACT, we recommend arriving by midday on October 16th, as we’ll have pre-conference programming starting that evening. October 17 & 18 are two full days of content and activities.

Departure: The program will end in the early evening on Thursday, October 18 with potential post-conference activities.

Questions: If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Ellen Dolan at

Okay … forget everything you know about sponsoring events.

Forget about PowerPoints and exhibit halls and giveaways and hellishly isolated display tables.

Innovation Leader has a proven model for disrupting the conventional events business with unique executive-only gatherings, from Field Studies to Executive Roundtables. It’s why the VP Innovation at Allstate called our events “better than any conference I’ve attended”; the VP Innovation at Transamerica called our events “unmatched by any conference I’ve attended”; and the VP Innovation at Computershare called our events “the best corporate innovation event I’ve attended. Period.”

Basically, we know what we’re doing.

And Impact 2018 will be no different, providing a small group of sponsors exceptional access to corporate innovation, strategy, venture, and R&D executives, all in tasteful and value-laden formats.

So if you’re interested in a different level of engagement — one premised on the creation of deep personal relationships that yield unique business-development opportunities with corporate customers — contact Andy Donovan. But do it soon.
