Impact conferences will take place in New York and San Francisco. We're designing them to be smaller than in the past (NYC will be limited to 100 participants), and focused on four benefits:
We know your time is precious. The time you spend at Impact will help you and your team learn from the best, deliver bigger results, spark new partnerships, and grow your network.
In between our NYC and San Francisco face-to-face conferences, we'll be hosting an online event and several smaller in-person executive forums. Purchasing a ticket to either NYC or San Francisco will include access to the online event, or you can purchase that ticket separately if you're unable to join us in person. Purchasing a ticket to either NYC or San Francisco will give a director-level or above participant from your company free access, on a space-available basis, to our in-person executive forums in Boston, Chicago, and Atlanta.
This event is designed for current corporate leaders in innovation, strategy, design, emerging technology, R&D, and new product development roles. Speakers at past Impact gatherings have included senior executives from Google, General Mills, Lyft, IBM, Bose, Converse, Citi, Samsung, Tiffany & Co., Ford, Kellogg's, Walmart, NASA, Harvard Business Review, and more. If you need to deliver tangible impact in your organization in the year ahead, please don’t miss Impact.
In addition to fireside chats, workshops, and case studies, you’ll be invited to participate in pre-event activities and cocktail receptions, as well as breakouts full of opportunities to participate and pose your questions. Impact will also give you the chance to schedule 1-on-1 meetings with other participants, speakers, and sponsors.

Impact is designed expressly for corporate innovation, strategy, emerging tech, and R&D professionals. That’s everyone from Chief Innovation Officers and VPs of Innovation, to Directors of Innovation and R&D Managers. If you’re responsible for new products or services inside your company, you’re probably the right fit. If you're in professional services, advisory, training, or innovation software, please inquire about sponsorship.
We're hosting this year's in-person conferences in New York and San Francisco, with a online two-day virtual event in between to connect participants who join us at both of these conferences. Our online platform allows you to see who else is participating, send them messages, connect with sponsors, and even schedule 1-on-1 video meetings with other participants and sponsors. Tickets to either in-person conference will include access to the virtual event.
We will monitor local policies related to COVID-19 that will apply to each of our in-person Impact gatherings. At our New York Impact gathering, the venue, the Wythe Hotel, requires proof of vaccination for admittance; please discuss any needs for medical exemptions with our team in advance. Attendees will be encouraged to wear masks for indoor sessions if they are comfortable doing so, and required to in cities where there is a mask mandate, such as Boston and Chicago.
If you are unable to attend the event for health reasons, or your plans change, we are happy to transfer your ticket to a colleague or shift it to our San Francisco Impact conference in early 2022. If the event is cancelled due to public health reasons, we will offer you the option of participating in our online event and transferring your registration to our next in-person event, likely San Francisco in early 2022, or getting refunded the difference between an in-person ticket and the online price. If you need to transfer your registration to a colleague, please let us know at least 24 hours before the event begins by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org so we have the new participant's contact info.
We are dedicated to creating a professional, safe, welcoming, and harassment-free environment for all our attendees. Please see our complete code of conduct here.
No. We're intentionally light on slides at our in-person events in favor of interactive exercises, easel pads, Post-It Notes, Play-doh, and whiteboards. Some speakers do use slides or visuals at our virtual events to make their practices and ideas more concrete.
No. All our sessions are confidential and designed for the benefit of participants.
If you’re working to make change happen inside a large organization, Innovation Leader was created especially for you.
We create downloadable templates and tools; report on what the world’s best companies are doing; and convene your peers to share best practices, in conference calls, webcasts, and at live events. Everything we do is geared to helping you deliver impact in your organization, whether you work in strategy, R&D, new ventures, design, technology, or innovation.
