At Kellogg's NYC, playing with your food is strongly encouraged. Kellogg's launched its New York City cereal café in 2016. Visitors can build their own cereal bowls and add seasonal toppings. They can also order custom bowls curated by the Kellogg's staff that test new types of cereal. Overlooking Union Square Park, the cafe's kitchen lies at the heart of the space. The rest of Kellogg's NYC features living room pods and spaces to play games.
According to Sandra Di Capua, a partner at Kellogg's NYC, guests are invited to relax, play games, and connect with each other over cereal — just like they would in their own living rooms.
"[In New York City,] we live our lives outside of our apartments...in restaurants, in cafés, ... in bars," Di Capua says. "This is a place we want to be an extension of your home." Di Capua talks about how Kellogg's NYC connects with guests and tests new products in this video.
