Most think of American Greetings as a purveyor of greeting cards, gift packaging, party goods and e-cards. However, as VP of Innovation Carol Miller describes it, the privately-held company is in the “meaningful connections” business, making the world a more thoughtful and caring place.

The 112-year-old company moved its headquarters from the Cleveland suburb of Brooklyn, Ohio to Westlake, Ohio in 2016. The custom-built 660,000-square-foot “Creative Studios” houses photo and art studios, workshop space, cozy lounges, and walls decorated with vision boards and local art. Employees can even do some shopping in the building’s fully-stocked card and gifts store. In June 2018, InnoLead got to take a look inside the new headquarters during our Cleveland Field Study.
