Impact conferences will take place in New York, San Francisco, and online. We're designing them to be smaller than in the past (NYC will be limited to 125 participants), and focused on four benefits:
We know your time is precious. The time you spend at Impact will help you and your team learn from the best, deliver bigger results, spark new partnerships, and grow your network.
This event is designed for current corporate leaders in innovation, strategy, design, emerging technology, R&D, and new product development roles. Speakers at past Impact gatherings have included senior executives from Google, General Mills, Lyft, IBM, Bose, Converse, Citi, Samsung, Tiffany & Co., Ford, Kellogg's, Walmart, NASA, Harvard Business Review, and more. If you need to deliver tangible impact in your organization in the year ahead, please don’t miss Impact.
In addition to fireside chats, workshops, and case studies, you’ll be invited to participate in pre-event activities and cocktail receptions, as well as breakouts full of opportunities to participate and pose your questions. Impact will also give you the chance to schedule 1-on-1 meetings with other participants, speakers, and sponsors.
Impact New York City takes place May 18 + 19, 2022, with some optional pre-event activities starting on May 17th at 2 PM. Our venue is the Wythe Hotel, a converted factory in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood.

Impact is designed expressly for corporate innovation, strategy, emerging tech, and R&D professionals. That’s everyone from Chief Innovation Officers and VPs of Innovation, to Directors of Innovation and R&D Managers. If you’re responsible for new products or services inside your company, you’re probably the right fit. If you're in professional services, advisory, training, or innovation software, please inquire about sponsorship.
We are hosting this year's in-person conferences in New York and San Francisco. Impact@NYC is taking place at the Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn. For more details on location, please visit the Hotel & Travel tab.
Because Impact attendees are traveling to New York City from many corners of the globe, we are working to do everything we can to make the event as COVID-safe as possible, while also ensuring it is an enjoyable and seamless experience. We would love your cooperation. We’re keeping things brief:
1. We will ask all attendees to complete a rapid antigen test the same day that they check in to Impact@NYC. For efficiency and safety, we recommend that you take your own test at home or in your hotel room, and bring a photograph of the result. As a backup option, we will have rapid tests available at the registration table on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, but please plan accordingly for the 15-minute waiting period. (Note: InnoLead staff will be testing every day.)
2. If you are feeling even slightly ill on any days of the event, we ask you to stay home, or in your hotel room. Please email events@innovationleader.com to let us know.
3. We recommend the wearing of high-quality masks when you are not talking or eating. Hotel staff are currently not required to wear masks, and neither are Impact attendees.
If you are unable to attend the event for health reasons, or your plans change, we are happy to transfer your ticket to a colleague or shift it to our San Francisco Impact conference in fall 2022. If the event is cancelled due to public health reasons, we will offer you the option of a refund or transferring your registration to our next in-person event, likely San Francisco in fall 2022, or an online event that is held instead of the in-person event. If you need to transfer your registration to a colleague, please let us know at least 24 hours before the event begins by emailing events@innovationleader.com so we have the new participant's contact info.
We are dedicated to creating a professional, safe, welcoming, and harassment-free environment for all our attendees. Please see our complete code of conduct here.
No. We're intentionally light on slides at our in-person events in favor of interactive exercises, easel pads, Post-It Notes, Play-doh, and whiteboards. Some speakers do use slides or visuals at our virtual events to make their practices and ideas more concrete.
No. All our sessions are confidential and designed for the benefit of participants.
If you’re working to make change happen inside a large organization, InnoLead was created especially for you.
We create downloadable templates and tools; report on what the world’s best companies are doing; and convene your peers to share best practices, in conference calls, webcasts, and at live events. Everything we do is geared to helping you deliver impact in your organization, whether you work in strategy, R&D, new ventures, design, technology, or innovation.
