Innovation is just different within nonprofits, NGOs, cause-oriented organizations, and industry groups. This one-day event, hosted at the AARP's "Hatchery" innovation lab, will focus on how these organizations are connecting differently with members and supporters; designing new kinds of events and digital offerings; partnering; communicating externally; and working with government agencies and the private sector. This event will include several "white space" sessions where participants can propose topics they would like to discuss and convene groups of peers.
Innovation Leader events are designed just for innovators working inside established organizations – no consultants, no software vendors, no sales pitches. For this gathering, we'll bring participants inside AARP's "Hatchery" innovation lab to discuss how to successfully innovate inside mission-driven organizations. Be prepared for lots of interactive sessions, peer-driven learning, and tactics you can bring home and put to use immediately.
Infused with peer-driven learning, skill-building, and interactive activities, our off-the-record sessions are for attendees' ears only. No slides, no panels, no fluff...just real conversations with your peers from the world's most successful organizations.
