Kelly Services exec on impact payments and disruptive ideas
Our December Innovation Leader Live call featured Rolf Kleiner, Chief Innovation Officer at Michigan-based Kelly Services, the staffing and workforce solutions giant. Kleiner talked about his CEO’s expectations; developing a process for collecting incremental and disruptive ideas, and how many ideas they’ve been receiving; creating an incentive system for idea submitters; and one high-potential idea Kelly Services is preparing to roll out, which involves offering new services to its competitors.
“Innovation is not something you add to your workload,” Kleiner said during the call. “It has to be the way you approach your job. I started with the premise that innovation is an outcome, and it’ll come when you have a proactively engaged workforce.”
