InnoLead’s New Digital Experience

We’re big believers in customer-driven innovation, so when we set out to rethink our web presence earlier in 2019, the first thing we did was talk to a handful of InnoLead members and sponsors. We wanted to understand what they find most useful, and what frustrated them.

We focused our whole redesign process on trying to amplify the former, and reduce the latter. We tried to make it easier to find what you’re looking for, and make our content easier to consume on mobile devices and tablets.

Here are just a few new features worth highlighting:

Better article layouts and organization: Our new site showcases articles, research reports, webcasts, videos, events, and our popular “Innovation Answered” podcast better than ever before. You can access everything via our vastly improved home page and expansive navigation bar, above. You’ll also find that articles have more context, showing you related content and resources to help you go more in-depth on specific topics you’re interested in.

Improved downloadable document library: Our downloadable document library also received a significant overhaul. Now these documents – templates, scorecards, event agendas, strategy presentations, and more, provided by our members or created by our editorial team, with input from current and former innovation execs – are organized by category and available in search results too. Have a look here.

New personal article library: We know time is tight for everyone. If you see an article of interest, but don’t have time to read it now, you can save it to your personal library for reading later. Just click the bookmark icon at the top of the article you want to save.

Personalization: Once you let us know the types of articles and content you’re interested in, over the coming months, you’ll start to see more of that on the home page – by topics and industries of interest, as well as your reading history. You can also choose which of our newsletters you want to receive … all in the “My Account” section available in the upper-right corner once you’re signed in.

We have two “asks” for you:

1. If you are already a member of InnoLead, you’ll need to re-set your password to access the new site. And to make sure you’re seeing the content that’s most relevant to you, check off a few topics you’re thinking about, and industries you’re interested in.

If you’re having any problems with access, just ping Kristen Krasinskas at Kristen@innovationleader.com or dial 617-535-3288.

2. If you’re not yet a member of InnoLead, consider becoming one to support our efforts to produce the world’s best case studies, research, and in-person and digital events on how to successfully drive innovation inside a large organization. We have a lot coming up this fall, from a new compensation study to our annual Benchmarking Innovation Impact report, to stories about Aetna, New Balance, Intel, and the Nature Conservancy. We want you to be able to take advantage of all of it!

Learn more about membership here, and if you have questions email Adam Perri at adam@innovationleader.com, or call him directly at 857-930-4096.

If you have any feedback on the new InnovationLeader.com experience, leave a comment here (just click that red “speech bubble” icon at the lower right of this page), or drop me an email at scott@innovationleader.com.

Thanks!
