How to play Failure Bingo


The next time you’re at a conference or other gathering that focuses on innovation, intrapreneurship, or incubation, you can enjoy a game we call Failure Bingo.

The rules are simple. Bring the bingo card at left to the next innovation event or meeting you attend. Fill in a square whenever you hear someone say, “It’s important to celebrate failure”; “Fail fast and cheap”; “Learn from failure”; etc. The goal is to fill in three squares in a row or diagonally.

But you can only fill in the center square when you hear someone discuss an actual situation in which they or their company failed.

Failure Bingo is not an easy game to win…
